Introducing "Wellness In The City": A Mindfulness Program for Children.



At Nannies in the City, we are always looking for innovative ways to support the holistic development of the children in our care. We are excited to announce our upcoming pilot program, "Wellness In The City," designed to teach children mindfulness, meditation, and emotional regulation.


Program Details:


- Duration: 5 weeks


- Location: Eaton Wellness, NW DC


- Ages: 3-10


- Schedule: (TBD)


-Tuesdays: Evening sessions

-Thursdays: Midday sessions

- Participants: Parents or nannies can bring the children to the program



Why Mindfulness?


Mindfulness practices have been shown to significantly benefit children's emotional and mental well-being. By teaching mindfulness, meditation, and emotional regulation, we aim to equip children with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with resilience and calm.


What to Expect:


Each session will be 40 minutes long and will include activities such as guided meditation, yoga, sound baths, and somatic breathing exercises. Our goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where children can learn and practice these essential skills.
